New Vintage ACOTAR-Inspired Silhouette Art for Your Bookshelf
There’s something about a beautiful old-fashioned silhouette portrait that feels as though it belongs in another world — especially when you add a little magic, moonlight and fantasy romance.
My latest designs have been created especially for lovers of A Court of Thorns and Roses, combining traditional vintage silhouette artwork with subtle details inspired by the magical world of ACOTAR.
A Little Piece of Prythian for Your Bookshelf
This new pair features two coordinating silhouettes, designed with Feyre and Rhysand in mind.
The Rhys-inspired portrait has a darker, celestial feel, with wings, stars and a crescent moon surrounding the silhouette. His companion portrait is softer and more romantic, with flowing hair, delicate flowers, stars and celestial details.
I wanted them to feel ACOTAR-inspired without looking like typical character fan art. Instead, they have the appearance of old portraits that might have been discovered tucked away in a grand library or hanging somewhere in the Night Court.
And, of course, I had to pair them with ornate antique-style gold frames!
Vintage Fantasy Meets Modern Bookish Décor
One of my favourite things about these little framed pieces is how easily they fit amongst books.
Pop them between your favourite fantasy novels, add them to a book trolley, style them alongside candles and trinkets, or use them as part of a miniature gallery wall.
The combination of the aged silhouette style, ornate gold frames and celestial imagery gives them a slightly gothic, romantic look that works beautifully with dark academia, vintage and fantasy-inspired interiors.
