October Book Mail Club – A Little Night Court Magic 🌙🦇
October has arrived, and this month’s Book Mail Club is stepping into the night…
For October, I wanted to create something dark, magical and a little mysterious — filled with bats, moonlight, stars and vintage fantasy details. Think cosy autumn evenings, candlelit reading sessions and the feeling of disappearing into a magical court after dark.
The colour palette combines deep blacks, aged parchment, soft gold and moonlit tones, giving the whole collection a beautifully gothic, celestial feel.
Inside October’s Book Mail
This month’s envelope is packed with exclusive pieces created especially for the club.
The star of the collection has to be the custom bat bookmark, featuring an intricately illustrated celestial bat covered in tiny moons, stars and ornamental details. It’s dramatic enough to peek out from the top of your current fantasy read and makes a lovely little piece of bookshelf art too.
There are also two ACEO art cards, featuring a mysterious male and female fae-inspired silhouette. I wanted these to feel like tiny pieces of vintage fantasy artwork — perfect for displaying on a bookshelf, adding to a mini gallery wall or keeping in your journal.
October's envelope also includes a moon photography print, custom moon stickers, decorative book corners and, of course, the monthly positive quote to keep or display.
Everything has been designed to work together, creating a little parcel of Night Court-inspired magic arriving through your letterbox.

One of my favourite things about the Book Mail Club is being able to explore a completely different world each month.
October feels especially suited to fantasy readers. There’s something about darker evenings, autumn weather and curling up with a book that makes this time of year feel just a little more magical.
